چکیده
The enormous colored effluent discharges due to increased usage of synthetic dyes in textile and other chemical industries pollute both freshwater marine reservoirs cause ecotoxicity serious health problems. This issue needs be addressed skillfully demands an ecofriendly economically feasible technique. Pertaining this, the current study was focused on use a white rot fungus, Resinicium bicolor decolorize degrade recalcitrant dye, Congo red (CR) through its extracellular laccase enzyme secreted by mycelia. work also intended develop simple mathematical formula calculate decolorization (%) various dye categories usually tested solid medium plate involving different fungi. fungus grown malt extract agar (MEA) containing media supplemented with CR, 1% (g/l) check extent hence efficacy at interval 24 hours (hrs). Decolorization determined derived from ‘Plate Volume Method’ (PVM). maximum achieved 97.79% 96.79% liquid culture end 96 hrs without involvement any mediators which are generally toxic expensive. Efficient validated accuracy ‘PVM’.

متن کاملPurification and Characterization of White Laccase from the White-rot Fungus Panus conchatus
Laccase is a kind of polyphenol oxidase having potential in applications for pulp bleaching, waste water treatment in mills, and removal of phenols in the food industry. The normal laccase from fungus or bacterial contains four copper atoms per protein molecular, imparting a blue color. Here it is reported that a white laccase is produced by a white rot fungus Panus conchatus from its solid-sta...
متن کاملCharacterization and Decolorization of Dye and Textile Effluent by Laccase from Pleurotus Florida- a White-rot Fungi
The textile industries by for the most passionate user of synthetic dyes are in need of ecoefficient solutions for its coloured effluents. The decolorization and detoxification potential of white rot fungi can be harnessed. Laccase has been utilized in biological treatment of effluents containing chemical dyes. The present study is planned to study the screening and chrecterization of laccase f...
متن کاملStudies on the laccase-mediated decolorization, kinetic, and microtoxicity of some synthetic azo dyes
BACKGROUND Enzymatic elimination of synthetic dyes, one of the most environmentally hazardous chemicals, has gained a great interest during the two last decades. The present study was performed to evaluate the decolorization and detoxification potential of the purified laccase of Paraconiothyrium variabile in both non-assisted and hydroxybenzotriazole-aided form against six azo dyes. RESULTS ...
